Paranormal Stuff Pack seems to be based on the Happy Haunts concept that was proposed to fans more than a year ago as part of a poll to agree on a community-voted Stuff Pack.
In the survey, possible Happy Haunts features that were presented at the time included a freelance ghost hunter career, a lot of Haunted House features, and a séance table.
Happy Haunts was second in the poll, making some fans disappointed at the time. But it looks like the Sims team was influenced by the enthusiasm and went on to create the pack in addition to the winner of the poll.
The subject of the next pack of stuff is certainly ghostly. Though it would have been fun to see more occult elements like in The Sims 3: Supernatural Pack, this stuff pack really has some interesting components.
A new lot trait will help players build Haunted Houses with the help of some unpleasant ghosts, though they look and presumably function differently than ghosts already present in The Sims 4.
The seance table will open a door to new gameplay and will potentially help Sims develop their "Medium" skill.
Sims will also be able to retrieve cursed artifacts from their houses, talk to the deceased, and even obtain offerings from beyond the grave.
Although Bonehilda was just a tiny speck in the Paranormal stuff pack teaser, the overview of the pack confirms that she'll be back in The Sims world again. It seems that Sims is going to be able to invite her from the seance table, but there isn't much detail beyond that.
But... Bonehilda could not be the only thing coming back in the game.
COULD GRAVEYARDS BE COMING BACK TOO WITH THE SIMS 4 PARANORMAL STUFF PACK?
Some features have already been introduced in packs and some have appeared in a slightly upgraded version in The Sims 4, got us thinking that maybe GRAVEYARDS might BE COMING BACK.
For example, The Sims 4: Snowy Escape expansion pack also added a graveyard, but not a graveyard lot feature.
Graveyards or cemeteries have been a feature of The Sims ever since the Goths had their own one at their home in the first version of the game, so it would be exciting to see that feature added to some kind of afterlife pack or in this case, The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack.
We'll need to wait for the OFFICIAL LIVESTREAM to find out more details.
The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack is the eighteenth stuff pack for The Sims 4 and will be available on January 26 for $9.99 on PC Origin, Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
